Created especially for Ramadan, this limited-edition bar is a heartfelt tribute to classic Middle Eastern flavors and one of the very first Egyptian desserts I ever experienced.
Inspired by basbousa — a beloved Egyptian semolina cake traditionally made with coconut and almond — this bar reimagines those comforting flavors in an elegant chocolate form. At its center is a soft, cake-like layer reminiscent of a tender cake pop: delicately sweet, lightly nutty, and infused with coconut and almond notes that feel both nostalgic and warmly spiced.
Layered above is a rich, creamy almond ganache, adding smooth depth and a luxurious melt-in-your-mouth texture that complements the soft cake center beautifully.
The entire bar is encased in caramelized white chocolate — a new shell in our collection — offering a buttery, toffee-like flavor with subtle caramel notes that elevate the traditional profile into something truly indulgent.
Finished with hand-painted gold flecks and touches of purple in honor of Ramadan, this bar is both meaningful and decadent — a celebration of heritage, family, and craftsmanship in every bite.
