At Carrs Confections, I take pride in providing quality chocolate and exceptional customer service. Shop online and indulge in high-quality chocolate with confidence. Transparent policies ensure your satisfaction, and if you have any questions or concerns, I are here to help.

Return Policy 

The return policy is designed to make sure our customers are fully satisfied with their orders. If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me within 5 days of receiving your order and i'll do my best to resolve the issue. I take pride in offering the highest quality chocolates and take every measure to ensure your satisfaction. Please ensure you are following the storage guidelines to ensure best quality chocolate.

Orders

Please allow 2-4 days for production of product. While I do try to have some product on hand to allow for faster delivery of product to maintain freshness I try to produce as ordered. If you would like something for a specific day please let me know. I will do my best to accommodate specific days and times. If you would like to place a large order please allow me as much time possible and feel free to reach out in advance. I will do my best to accommodate all requests but sometimes I cannot.

🗂️ Carr’s Confections Care Guide

Recommended storage: Store all products in a cool, dark place between 55–65 °F, away from direct sunlight.

 

🍬 Marshmallows

  • Room temperature: up to 3 weeks (if sealed and stored properly)

🍫 Stuffed Bars (e.g. caramel or marshmallow–filled treats)

  • Fresh (unopened / uneaten): keep at room temp up to 7 days

  • Once opened or after 7 days: refrigerate—up to 14 days

  • Long-term storage: freeze for up to 3 months

    • To defrost: place in fridge overnight, then let sit at room temperature for ~4 hours before eating

🥜 Turtles (chocolate, caramel & pecan clusters)

  • Cool, dark place: best within 7–10 days

  • Refrigerate for up to 14 days if ambient conditions are warmer or high humidity

🍪 Cookies

  • Soft or chewy types: room temp up to 4–5 days

  • Dense or crisp types: best within 7 days

  • Refrigerate if warm or humid to extend freshness slightly longer

🍬 Gummies

  • Keep at ideal temperature—avoid heat or humidity, which speeds spoilage.

  • Once opened, consume sooner—air exposure shortens shelf life.

  • Use-by dates (if provided) are calculated based on proper storage and handling.

  • Never refreeze once thawed, especially for stuffed bars—this degrades taste and texture.

🍫 Carr’s Confections Customer Policies

At Carr’s Confections, everything is handcrafted in small batches with care and intention. Due to the nature of our edible products, we have specific policies to ensure food safety and fairness for both our customers and our business.

 

📦 Return Policy

Because we produce perishable, custom-made food items, we do not accept returns on any consumed or partially eaten items. However, if there is an issue with your order, we want to make it right.

  • Concerns must be reported within 24 hours of pickup or delivery.

  • All uneaten product must be returned for inspection in order for any resolution or replacement to be considered.

  • Products must be returned in original packaging, with at least 75% of the item remaining.

Please note:

  • We cannot guarantee quality if products were not stored according to our care guidelines after pickup.

  • Issues related to improper storage, melting, or delayed refrigeration after pickup are not eligible for return or refund.

 

💰 Refund Policy

Refunds are issued only on a case-by-case basis, and when:

  • An error was made by Carr’s Confections (e.g. incorrect item or labeling).

  • The product was defective and returned uneaten within 24 hours for inspection.

Approved refunds will be:

  • Processed to the original form of payment or issued as store credit.

  • Not applicable for flavor preference or improper handling post-pickup.

  • Non-refundable items include: custom orders, holiday specials, or products not returned for inspection.

 

⏰ Late Pickup & No‑Call No‑Show Policy

Our confections are made fresh and often have a limited shelf life, so timely pickup is important.

  • Late Pickups: If you are running more than 15 minutes late, please notify us. We will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee product integrity after the scheduled time.

  • No-Call No-Show: If you do not arrive for your scheduled pickup and do not contact us:

    • We reserve the right to cancel your order without refund.

    • Your items may no longer be available due to shelf life constraints.

    • If you miss more than 2 pick up periods we reserve the right to cancel your order with no refunds

We understand that life happens! Please reach out if you're running late—we’ll always try to help when communication is made.

Once your order has been picked up or delivered:

  • Proper storage becomes the customer’s responsibility.

  • Detailed care instructions are provided online and must be followed to maintain freshness and safety (e.g. refrigeration, avoiding heat exposure).

  • Carr’s Confections is not liable for any damage resulting from improper storage, transport, or handling once the product has left our care.
